Atelier Verro is an Australian candle house based in Melbourne, Australia. We pour small-batch candles and related products and sell them directly through this website. For privacy questions or requests about your information, contact us at atelier@atelierverro.com.

Information we collect
When you browse and shop, information may be stored on your device and, when you complete checkout, submitted as part of an order.
Checkout and order details
To place an order you provide:
- Name — first name and last name
- Contact — email address
- Delivery address — street address, suburb, Australian state or territory (NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT, or NT), and a 4-digit postcode
- Optional gift note — text you choose to include (up to 280 characters), which we may write by hand for the parcel
- Payment method selection — card (Visa, Mastercard, or Amex) as presented at checkout
- Order contents — products, quantities, prices, shipping amount, and total in Australian dollars (AUD)
Orders are assigned a numeric reference (for example, 10432001).
Information stored in your browser
This site uses your browser’s local storage to keep shopping and order-related data on your device, including:
- Your cart contents (product identifiers and quantities)
- Order sequence data used to generate order references
- A local record of orders you complete in this browser, including the customer and item details you entered at checkout
- Where generated, a draft email link addressed to atelier@atelierverro.com for order follow-up
This data sits on your device. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
Payment
Checkout offers card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). We do not ask you to type full card numbers into free-text fields on this site’s order form. Live card processing depends on a connected payment provider; until that is connected, orders may be saved locally for demonstration purposes. When live payments are enabled, card details are handled by the payment provider under their terms and security practices.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Fulfil and process your order (candles, formats, refills, gift packs, and other products listed on the site)
- Calculate shipping (flat rate of $9.95 AUD, or free express shipping on Australian orders of $150 AUD or more)
- Dispatch orders (including same business day dispatch for orders placed before 12PM AEST where that service applies)
- Include a handwritten gift note when you provide one, without placing prices or an invoice in the gift parcel
- Respond to enquiries you send to atelier@atelierverro.com
- Handle returns, refunds, and breakage replacements as described in our Refunds & Returns policy
Shipping and international orders
We ship from Melbourne via tracked courier, including internationally. Free express shipping applies to Australian orders over $150 AUD. For international deliveries, duties and charges imposed by customs, where they apply, are the recipient’s responsibility. Delivery address details you provide are used to label and send your parcel.
Who we share information with
Based on how this site operates today, personal information you submit for an order is used to fulfil that order and to communicate with you about it. In the ordinary course of fulfilment that may involve:
- Courier and logistics partners who deliver tracked parcels from Melbourne
- A card payment provider, when live card checkout is connected
- You, when we correspond by email at the address you give or via atelier@atelierverro.com
We sell direct to customers. We do not describe any sale of personal information as part of this site’s commercial model.
Storage and security
Cart and demo order records held in local storage remain on your device until you clear them. When you contact us or complete a live order process, information is handled as needed to pack, ship, and support the order. We take reasonable care with customer details; no method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
Your choices
- You can browse without placing an order; checkout fields are only required when you choose to complete a purchase.
- Gift notes are optional.
- You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser to remove cart and locally saved order data.
- You can email atelier@atelierverro.com to ask about the personal information you have provided to us, to correct details, or to raise a privacy concern.
Children
Our products and checkout are intended for adult purchasers. We do not knowingly market candles as children’s products through this site.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this privacy policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable Australian law.

If we update how we collect or use personal information on this site, we will revise this page. The current version is the one published here.
